Season of Giving

It’s our annual Season of Giving!

Our Thanksgiving offering is complete. Because of you, our 2025 Thanksgiving Offering didn’t just meet the goal—it blew past it. Our goal was $25,000. We raised 154% of our goal, with 225 donors contributing $38,520 to bless our neighbors through Together, a local nonprofit ministry working to prevent and end hunger and homelessness in the Omaha area.

Your generosity means more families will have groceries on the table, more kids will go to bed in a safe place, and more of our neighbors will experience hope in a season that can be especially hard.

Thank you for leading with generosity, for caring about people you may never meet, and for reflecting the heart of Jesus in such tangible ways. The impact of this offering will last far beyond this Thanksgiving season.

Project Wee Care

For a decade, WE have partnered with the Millard Business Association to provide Christmas gifts for Millard Public School students who wouldn’t otherwise receive them. You can adopt a child by picking up an envelope in the lobby on Sunday morning or by giving online. On the pull-down menu, use Project Wee Care. The cost is typically $75 per child.

As of December 1st, WE are at 85% of our goal: adopting 299 or 350 students. And, we are at 140% of our financial goal of $10,000—$14,055 has been given so far. Additional financial gifts will help sponsor more students and provide food for students facing food insecurity when school is not in session.

WE have opportunities to volunteer, too! Distribution Day is Saturday, December 13th. You can register to serve here.

Christmas Offering

Amigos Academy
Our Christmas Offering this year will go to our mission partner Amigos for Christ to help build a new 8th-grade classroom at The Amigos Academy in La Chuscada, Nicaragua. The Academy is a Christ-centered school transforming education for kids in a rural community where many students would otherwise drop out far too early.

As enrollment grows, the school needs a new 8th-grade classroom so students can continue at Amigos for another crucial year instead of having to leave after 7th grade. Our goal is to raise $150,000 to fund the construction of this classroom and open the door to another year of learning, mentorship, and hope.

WE already partner with Amigos for Christ by supporting a full-time missionary, sending summer interns, and having our people participate in week-long mission trips. WE have provided water for communities, running water and bathrooms for hundreds of households, and breakfast and lunch at the Amigos Academy for an entire school year. This Christmas, we get to deepen that partnership. Every dollar given to the Christmas Offering will go directly to building the 8th-grade classroom at The Amigos Academy.
