Over a decade ago, The Water’s Edge sent our first team on a mission trip to Uganda. Every year since we have served and given medical care to people in Uganda. This year’s project is building a hospital in Uganda’s Luuka District. WE have an opportunity to make a generational impact on 200,000 people who don’t have access to regular healthcare. Our teams and local medical providers will staff the clinic. The hospital will be a combination of an urgent care center, a primary care clinic, and a pharmacy.
Our goal is to raise $155,000. This will build and equip the facility. If funds in additional to that are raised, additional medical equipment will be purchased. Four of our families, three of who have been to Uganda, have given visionary gifts totaling $55,000. The rest of us have $100,000 to go.
Jesus was a healer, and WE do the things Jesus did. The hospital is designed, and the land is ready. If WE meet or exceed our goal, the facility will be completed in 2025.
