Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Bed Delivery Day
Saturday, February 7 – 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

At January’s WE Serve Saturday, we built 80 beds for kids in the metro, and now it’s time to deliver them!  Join us as we partner with our friends from Sleep in Heavenly Peace to provide beds to children and families in need. We share SHP’s dream that no child should sleep on the floor! This is a fantastic way to share the love of Jesus!

Age Group—All ages are welcome! This is a family-friendly event, but we recommend that children be at least eight years old. An adult must accompany any child under the age of 12.

Dress Code - Dress for success! We will work outside to load/unload the bed components and inside to move and assemble the beds. Please wear close-toed shoes, jeans, and your WE Serve T-shirt. All safety equipment is provided. If you don't have a WE Serve T-shirt, please email tim@weomaha.com.   

Service (work) - With SHP Team Leads, our teams will travel to homes around the metro to move kids into beds and off the floors. WE will carry and move wood for bed frames, boxes with parts and bedding, and battery-powered tools. No previous construction skills are necessary. 

Location—WE will meet at the Sleep in Heavenly Peace warehouse (4871 S. 136^th St., Omaha, NE 68137) 

Time Slot – 8:00 to 12:00 – Ideally, we will check in a little before 8:00 a.m., break into teams, load beds and resources, pray, and venture out to serve.
