Miller Park Elementary – Block Party – Saturday, May 10, 2025, with volunteer slots from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Join us as we partner with the staff from Miller Park Elementary to celebrate the end of a successful school year and the transition into summer! There will be food, carnival games, a bounce house, and lots of fun! Last year, we had 300 attendees and anticipate between 350 and 400 this year. This is a wonderful way to bless the kids, families, and staff of Miller Park. People of all ages are welcome to come and be the hands and feet of Jesus!
Age Group: All ages are welcome! This event is family-friendly. An adult must accompany any child under 12 years old.
Dress Code: Our work will be outside in the elements, so dress for success. Please wear close-toed shoes, jeans, and your WE Serve T-shirt. All safety equipment is provided. If you don't have a WE Serve T-shirt, please email tim@weomaha.com.
Service (work): We have 48 volunteer opportunities available, including setting up floaters, helping kids maneuver the bounce house, practicing sports skills, playing carnival games, applying temporary tattoos, and doing crafts.
Location: We will meet at the east parking lot of Miller Park Elementary (5625 N. 28th Ave., Omaha, NE 68111).
