SOS (Sisters of Scripture) is a group of women of all ages and stages of faith studying scripture together using various Bible Study books. This group meets throughout the school year.
Study: "The Characters of Christmas: The Unlikely People Caught Up in the Story of Jesus" by Daniel Darling
Dates: Mondays from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, November 25 - December 16 (4 week series)
Description: Take a fresh look at the Christmas story and engage your imagination by entering into the stories of the men and women who played a part in the story of Jesus' birth. You'll see the most important character--Jesus Christ--with new eyes! If there was ever a time you wanted to discover what Sisters of Scripture women's bible study (S.O.S.) is all about, now is the time! These four weeks will be festive and fun, with activities and service opportunities, as well as fellowship and food! Invite a friend to join you!
Participants must purchase a book through Amazon or on Kindle. Paperback is $8.57 and Kindle option is $3.99. Either works.
Please come prepared to the first session on November 25th by reading chapters 1 and 2 in the book beforehand.
