Leandra joined The Water’s Edge as the Associate Pastor in 2019. She watched a lot of good basketball at Creighton University and then Duke Divinity School. Now, she is working on a doctorate at Fuller Seminary and hopes to graduate before her kids do. She leads our Connections process, House Church small groups, and Worship team. She is passionate about helping people find their place and their people in the church so they can grow into the person God created them to be. At a camp in Iowa in 2004, she realized only Jesus can give us life to the fullest, and since then, she has been committed to helping others experience it too. 

Leandra is married to Sam. He’s easy to recognize because he’s the one wearing a Colorado Buffaloes shirt every day in Husker country. They spend their free time chasing their son Nolan around a playground and trying to get giggles from their twins Mia and Morgan. If they do get some free time, you can find them on the golf course or at a sporting event. Leandra loves watching stand-up comedy and attempts to incorporate it into her preaching. 

On Sundays, please don’t tell her the score of the Green Bay Packers game. She is recording it to watch later.
