Susan and her family have been members of the Water’s Edge since 2008. She very much enjoys volunteering at Water’s Edge and in the community, and after retirement from her full-time job, decided to join the Water’s Edge staff part-time. In her work as executive director, she focuses on the internal workings of the church like staff development, strategy and planning, ministry alignment and project management.
Susan and her husband Pat are parents to three college students. Cole studies Mechanical Engineering at UNL, Sarah is double majoring in Musical Theater and Business at UNO, and Amanda will graduate in the Spring from UNL with a Music Education degree, and is hoping to teach music at an Elementary School. Traveling, especially road trips with Pat, or the whole family when schedules allow, is her favorite thing to do. Between road trips, she enjoys attending sporting events with Cole, attending touring Broadway shows with Sarah, and concerts with Amanda.
