Season of Giving

It’s our annual Season of Giving!

Our Thanksgiving offering is complete. Because of you, our 2025 Thanksgiving Offering didn’t just meet the goal—it blew past it. Our goal was $25,000. We raised 154% of our goal, with 225 donors contributing $38,520 to bless our neighbors through Together, a local nonprofit ministry working to prevent and end hunger and homelessness in the Omaha area.

Your generosity means more families will have groceries on the table, more kids will go to bed in a safe place, and more of our neighbors will experience hope in a season that can be especially hard.

Thank you for leading with generosity, for caring about people you may never meet, and for reflecting the heart of Jesus in such tangible ways. The impact of this offering will last far beyond this Thanksgiving season.

Update: $58,520 raised. 234% of our goal!

Project Wee Care

For the past decade, WE has partnered with the Millard Business Association to provide Christmas gifts for Millard Public School students who wouldn’t otherwise receive them—and this year you all absolutely crushed it.

Because of your generosity, WE provided gifts for 602 students, blowing past our original goal of 450. Our estimated investment in Project Wee Care in 2025 exceeds $70,000. And it wasn’t just giving—people served hundreds of hours behind the scenes: sorting, organizing, packing, loading, unloading, and helping on Distribution Day. Thank you for showing up with joy, endurance, and love. You made Christmas happen for hundreds of kids and families.

Thank you, WE Church. This is what it looks like to love our neighbors well.

Christmas Offering

Amigos Academy
This year’s Christmas Offering will go to our mission partner Amigos for Christ to help build a new middle school for 7th, 8th, and 9th graders at The Amigos Academy in La Chuscada, Nicaragua. The Academy is a Christ-centered school transforming education for kids in a rural community where many students would otherwise drop out far too early.

As enrollment grows, the need is clear: more space and a dedicated middle school building so students can keep learning, growing, and being mentored through these critical years. Our goal is to raise $150,000 to fund this project. So far, $52,000 has been given—35% of the way to our goal.

The Water’s Edge already partners with Amigos for Christ in meaningful ways—supporting a full-time missionary, sending summer interns and mission teams, providing water solutions, running water and bathrooms for households, and helping provide meals at The Amigos Academy. This Christmas, we get to deepen that partnership in a lasting way. Every dollar given to the Christmas Offering will go directly toward building the new middle school for 7th–9th graders.
