Stories from The Water’s Edge Prayer
Jesus –
Meet me at the water’s edge.
When my heart is noisy, slow me down.
When I feel empty, find me there.
When what I have seems small, help me place it in your hands.
When I feel ashamed or stuck, meet me with grace.
Teach me to listen for your voice,
to trust your word,
and to follow where you lead.
Let your truth sink deep in me.
Let your grace ripple out from me.
And lead me a little farther into the life you have for me.
Amen.
