WE Kids VBS is turning the ordinary days of summer into super with Superheroes! Finding God’s Power in Me. What makes this all so amazing is who the superheroes are—each of US! God, the greatest superhero of all, stepped into the action, gave us His super Son Jesus, and made each one of us His co-conspirators in the fight for good. Our job at VBS is to find His power in us, the way He designed us, and discover how to use our superpowers for everyday living.
Our WE VBS employs fun, high-energy gatherings full of music, lights, dancing, stage games, and reciting God’s truths for us. PreK-Kindergarten kids have four 15-minute rotations each night, including Bible truths, crafts, snacks, and games—all centralized to the night’s theme and scripture. Elementary kids have three 20-minute rotations of Bible truths and activities, then snacks and games. Groups are created by age and have multiple crews, each with no more than 10 superheroes. Each crew has at least one adult and one junior leader.
“Superheroes VBS” is June 22-25, 6-8:00 pm. We are open to anyone interested in joining us. Those with minor to significant sensitivities or needs are welcome to join us based on your and your child’s comfort.
New this year, a super-secret hero “quiet” room designed to subdue most of the high-intensity environment found in our opening and closing gatherings. We’ll also make use of our sensory room and cool-down stations when needed to help all kids find fun and comfort in our environment.

Superheroes VBS is open to all kids, of varying abilities and sensitivities, ages 4 (out of diapers) through students entering 5th grade for the 2026-27 school year.
You have a chance to be the coolest Superhero our kids know, just by being yourself and helping them have fun learning about Jesus. It’s your chance to make a difference in a kid’s life and faith! Students going into 6th grade-18 yrs of age are welcome as a “Junior Hero” status.
Volunteer opportunities range from Crew Leaders (our most popular and needed role), to craft leaders, game leaders, registration and check-in assistants, nurses, and floaters. Adult volunteers are background certified. All volunteers attend a required training and will get their own Superhero t-shirt!

When we think of superheroes, we think of larger-than-life, genetically mutated, supernaturally charged beings with special powers and high-tech tools, set far apart from the average person. But that’s not the superheroes we find in the Bible. Even the most beloved and revered of God’s superhero roster started out as no different than any other around them. In fact, many of God’s heroes were the least likely to be thought of as super or extraordinary.
WE Superheroes VBS will highlight a few of the heaviest hitters of the Bible, exploring their ordinariness and their courage. Kids will learn to see God better by realizing how He sees them. They’ll also learn to see how God sees them and how He had designed them to play major superhero roles in His big story.
Moses and the power God gives us to have courage.
David and the power God gives us to be strong.
Jesus and the power God gives us to forgive.
Paul and the power God gives us to be a superhero.
Each night, your child will run through our famous Superhero Refueling snack station. Our snack stations offer tons of options for all snackers and those with food sensitivities, and our Superhero Snack Volunteers make sure the snacks for each kid are right.
If your child has a food sensitivity or restriction, WE invite you to stop by our Snack Station to check ingredient labels or talk to one of our Superhero Snack Volunteers to ask questions or discuss concerns you may have.
