Miller Park Elementary – Trunk or Treat – Saturday, October 11, 2025, with volunteer slots from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. Join us as we partner with the staff from Miller Park Elementary to celebrate the fall season, connect with kids and their families, and introduce them to Jesus! Our hope is to bring joy, safety, and laughter as we share the love of Christ in practical ways. We want to remind the families, especially the kids, that they are seen, valued, and loved by God. There will be food, candy, carnival games, crafts, and lots of fun! Last year, we had 300 attendees and anticipate between 350 and 400 this year. If you provide the trunks and energy, we’ll provide the candy, crafts, and pizza! People of all ages are welcome to come and serve!
Age Group—All ages are welcome! This event is family-friendly. An adult must accompany any child under 12 years old.
Dress Code: Our mission field will be outside in the elements, so dress for success. Costumes are welcome! Regardless of the attire, please wear closed-toe shoes and jeans. If you don’t want to wear a costume, please wear your bright yellow WE Serve t-shirt. If you don't have a WE Serve T-shirt, please email tim@weomaha.com.
Service (work): We have 20 “Trunk” slots and 30 volunteer opportunities available, including setting up floaters, playing carnival games, and applying temporary tattoos.
Location: We will meet at the east parking lot of Miller Park Elementary (5625 N. 28th Ave., Omaha, NE 68111).
