Miller Park Elementary – Block Party – Saturday, May 9, 2026, with volunteer slots from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. Join us as we partner with the staff from Miller Park Elementary to celebrate the end of a successful school year and the transition into summer! There will be food, carnival games, a bounce house, and lots of fun! Last year, we had 300 attendees and anticipate between 350 and 400 this year. This is a wonderful way to bless the kids, families, and staff of Miller Park. People of all ages are welcome to come and be the hands and feet of Jesus!
If you can’t make is Saturday, we’d love your help prepacking and loading on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 9:30-10:30 am at the church.
Age Group: All ages are welcome! This event is family-friendly. An adult must accompany any child under 12 years old.
Dress Code: Our work will be outside in the elements, so dress for success. Please wear close-toed shoes, jeans, and your WE Serve T-shirt. All safety equipment is provided. If you don't have a WE Serve T-shirt, please email emily@weomaha.com.
Service (work): We have 60 volunteer opportunities available, over two days, including packing and loading, set up, floaters, serving food, helping kids maneuver the bounce house, carnival games, and activities.
Location: We will meet at the east parking lot of Miller Park Elementary (5625 N. 28th Ave., Omaha, NE 68111).
