Miller Park Elementary - Spring Cleanup – Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9:00 am. to 1:00 pm. Join us as we partner with staff from Miller Park Elementary to do some Spring Cleaning on their campus. Opportunities include pulling weeds and trash, trimming plants and trees, and spreading mulch. Note: We will have a small bobcat to move the mulch around the campus, we just need to spread it. This is a wonderful opportunity to help provide a bright, clean environment for the kids and families as they learn and grow.
Age Group: All ages are welcome! This event is family-friendly. An adult must accompany any child under 12 years old.
Dress Code: Our work will be outside in the elements, so dress for success and layer as needed. Please wear close-toed shoes, jeans, and your WE Serve T-shirt. All safety equipment is provided. If you don't have a WE Serve T-shirt, please email tim@weomaha.com.
Service (work): WE will use small hand tools, trash bags, wheelbarrows, and other tools to clear the weeds, trim, and move mulch. No previous gardening skills are necessary.
Location: WE will meet at the east parking lot of Miller Park Elementary (5625 N. 28th Ave. Omaha, NE 68111).
